Since 1977, SDCS has been the pinnacle of Christian education in the Stratford community. As an interdenominational school, we have families from nearly 20 different churches in the Stratford area. We have been at 190 Queensland Road in Stratford since 2009, and are currently looking to expand our facility to accommodate our continued growth. We give thanks to the Lord who has continually blessed us and our work, and continues blessing the world around us.
Our goal is to educate each child in the light of God’s word. We believe all of our students are made in God’s image (Genesis 1:26-27) and we support the development of the gifts God has given them. Our teachers work with parents to create a school environment that encourages learning and discovery.
Goal of Our Teachers
To develop each child’s understanding of their identity in Christ.
To guide students to discover their destiny in Christ so that they can serve Him in all areas of life with compassion and joy!
To provide the students with high quality, Christ-centred education, that meets or exceeds the curricular requirements of the Ministry of Education of the Province of Ontario for Kindergarten to Grade 8.
Goal of Our Parents
To prayerfully guide, encourage and disciple their children from a Christ-centred worldview.
To provide an opportunity to participate in an educational system where parental influence and involvement is welcomed and necessary.
To maintain a Christian school society where parents and friends regularly support the school, making high quality Christian education possible and affordable.

Personal Support Worker
We are connected to three organizations that strengthen and support Christian education. As a member of the Ontario Alliance of Christian Schools, Christian Schools Canada, and Christian Schools International, we hold ourselves to a higher standard and gain access to a support system that enables us to provide excellent Christ-centered education.
